Job overview
· Candidate should have 4 to 6 years of extensive experience as a Scala Developer
· Should be well versed in Functional Programming with Scala and have applied object-oriented Scala concepts day in and out (Inheritance, Anonymous classes, Scala Objects, Abstract classes etc.)
· Should be well versed with Spark RDD, Spark Streaming, Spark Data Frames, and Spark Core APIs with Scala as the programming language
· Should be able to understand and scale up working independently in a complex Scala code base environment doing Spark transformations
· Should be experienced with Hive in creating external tables, partitioning and applying advanced concepts.
· Should be able to work from office location Bangalore for 2 to 3 days in a week.
