Responsibilities

Manage multiple SFMC business units

· Collaborate with cross functional business teams to develop technical solutions utilizing SFMC tools: Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Audience Builder, Interaction Studio, Datorama

· Guide and mentor other SFMC Engineers

· Platform Support

o Lead discussions on how to improve devOps

o Monitor automation and journey failure alerts and resolve failures

o Be aware of product release and how that impacts our business

· Data Development

o Map data across multiple data sources, driving standardization and creating workflows that support personalization in customer communications

o Creating queries/joining tables, Automations, data modeling, integrations

o Monitor Automations and investigate when issues arise

o Creating and managing data extensions

o Managing Publication Lists (ie creating new Publication list for a new program)

o Conducting data audits, cleansing

· Custom Development

o Designing and implementing API integration services

o Designing and implementing cloud pages

o Edit HTML modules/templates

· Admin

· Create roles, manage user permissions

· Manage SSO

· Manage SFMC sFTP access, key management, subdomain, SSL Certs

· Declarative

· Creating and segmenting audiences

· Building email and push journeys

· Managing Reply Mail Management and Send Profile Management

· Expect individual to work independently on projects with minimal support on solution design and implementation.

Qualifications

Total Years of experience: 8+

· 5+ years’ experience working on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud

· Experience in guiding and mentoring junior engineers

· Experience in supporting delivery of high-volume email campaigns is preferred

· Proficient in AMP Script

· Working experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Cloud pages

· Experience in SFMC data integrations: cloud connector, data extensions, integration with external systems (via APIs)

· Experienced in managing outages, customer escalations, crisis management, and other similar circumstances.

· Familiarity with agile software delivery

· Experience in reporting and analytics using Datorama is a plus

· Experience with design/implement solutions in Interaction Studio (Evergage) is a plus

· Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin certification is a plus

· Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification is a plus

· Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification is a plus

· Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification is a plus
