Senior Engineer - Quality Engineering

Responsibilities for performance tester 

• Work with Agile team members across organization 

• Performing analysis of test results 

• Hands-on experience in Load testing tool- Load Runner web testing protocol & Jmeter 

• Hands on experience in Performance monitoring and Log parsing tools for performance analysis 

• Ability to build, debug and enhance unix scripts in shell or automate performance test processes will be an added advantage 

• Work with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality 

• May coach, lead and mentor other team members 

• Building and maintaining performance and capacity testing solutions using a variety of third party and custom tools in a 

• Develop a project Test Strategy to set the standards for performance testing processes and activities 

• Conduct analysis and interpret test results 

Qualifications for performance tester 

• Proficient in the following tools 

• An understanding of web protocols including HTTP/HTTPS 

• Knowledge of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance web performance measures 

• Experience in developing Performance Test scripts (web/HTTP 

• Experience in software development and software development life cycles (waterfall/agile) 

• Performance Testing Tools – JMeter,LoadRunner with good knowledge about performance engineering and its best practices . 

• Good Experience in Manual Testing Concepts and Skills like UAT,Black Box , Regression  

• Good Experience in API Testing   

• Min 4+ Years of Total IT Experience with 2+ Yrs of Relevant Exp in Performance Testing
