Job Description

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver build scripts using GCC on AIX platform for a very large number of C/C++ programs.
• Build and manage build process and upgrade the GCC versions to recent/latest version as applicable to project requirements.
• Build the products in AIX 7.x environments.
• Work along with development team to finalize on the target compiler and OS versions, iterating if required.
• Debug various issues with GCC and AIX, working along with developers to resolve the build/compiling issues.
• Run functionality and performance regressions as required.
• Optimize on GCC build and compiler options for specific set of C/C++ programs.
• Identify and optimize on performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Proven C/C++ build and debugging experience with GCC compiler.
• Strong knowledge and experience with UNIX operating systems and GCC compiler
• Experience working with AIX OS is highly desirable.
• Experience using open-source tools and integrating open source packages
• Ability to Learn new technologies and apply the knowledge quickly.
• Ability to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Education

Bachelors in Computer Science or Any Equivalent filed.
